Unique characteristics of AC IL-76 and AN-12 are base cargo AC companies, capable to carry out flights to poor equipped aerodrome. AC possesses a ramp design for transportation of large-sized cargoes and does not demand use of a special cargo handling complex.

Landing gear has high passability which allows to take off and to land from unpaved airdromes.
Loading of large dimensions containers and techniques carry out through cargo door with ramp.
Thanks to high wing location, level of cargo floor located near to ground which makes loading easy.
Loading/offloading is performed with the help of cargo trap, hoist, beam crane with loading 1500 kg and transporter.

IL76 cargo AC capable for transportation of large-size cargo and self-propeller machineries in the different geographic width with any base conditions on middle ranch airways. Multiwheel landing gears with high passability in combination with high lift device and available power allow to maintain IL76 from poor ground airdromes, providing short take off/landing distance. Cargo compartment dimensions equipped with special designed loading/offloading machineries allows using wildly any types of standard aviation and automobile containers and trays applied in international transportation. Capable for transportation of cargo with ranch 4700 km with cruise speed 750-800 km/h Maximum payload 45 tons. Cargo compartment is capable to load containers, trays and self-propelled machineries in different combinations. Overall dimensions and weight loading of standard containers and trays are required to international techniques standards. For carrying out loading/offloading use hoist, telpher, easy removable track, attached to floor.
